Pepper Chicken garnished with fried potatoes

Ingredients
500 gm chicken drumsticks
1 tsp turmeric
1 Tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 tsp green chili paste
1 Tbsp Soya sauce
Salt to taste
Oil to pan fry
½ tsp cumin seeds
few curry leaves
3 to 4 onions
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tbsp crushed pepper

Method

Chop the onions and grind it to paste.

Marinate the chicken drumsticks with turmeric, ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, salt and Soya sauce for about 30 minutes.
In a big Pan heat oil and add cumin seeds.

After they crackle, add the onions paste and saute till they turn golden’ish brown.

Add curry leaves, coriander powder and crushed pepper. Saute for 2 more minutes and add the marinated chicken.

Sear on high flame, then reduce heat and cook for a further 15 minutes stirring occasionally.

Once the dish is done you can even garnish it with coriander leaves.
I have garnished it with fried potatoes.
